What’s a AFCAD file?

AFCAD is program made by Lee Swordy. This program enables scenery designers to add the FS2002/FS2004 AFD which controls how the FS2002/04 AI aircraft will taxi. It also adds the ILS information for FS2004 users.

WARNING! Too much AI aircraft will serious hit your frame rates

If you wish to download the AFCAD program, you can do so from www.avsim.com

REMEMBER THESE FILES ARE OPTIONAL!, you already have a working file installed

There are several alterations that users may wish to try with the above files. Here is just few ideas

1) If you delete the parking stands in the maintenance areas you prevent AI aircraft taxiing down there.

2) Reduce AI parking stands to 50% of the original, this will improve frame rates for users of ‘Ultimate traffic’ or ‘PAI’, but you will get aircraft disappearing after landing
